Our approach and methodology ( IP2R system ) were developed as a result of extensive hands-on experience of the founder and President, Dr. Likhyani, in extracting value from IP at DuPont/ INVISTA, where he was the Director of Licensing & Joint-Ventures and a Patent Fellow, and through his active participation in the Licensing Executive Society (LES) since 1990 where he has been a frequent speaker in IP/ licensing arena. Dr. Likhyani is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) by the Licensing Executive Society of USA & Canada (LES). He is the past chair of the Strategic Alliances Committee and currently chairs an ad hoc committee on " Doing Licensing Deals in Asia under current IP law changes " at the Licensing Executive Society. He is an advisor to the National Intellectual Property Organization ( NIPO )in India. In addition to R&D experience at DuPont's Pioneering Research (5-patents), Plant Sart-up (DuPont KEVLAR) and Market Development (Nonwovens), he has over 20 years of leadership experience in intellectual property (IP) development, analysis, developing options, including finding business solutions to resolving IP disputes and value-extraction from DuPont IP. He has extensive hands-on experience in the area of patent filings & procurement, IP strategy development, data mining, acquisitions & divestitures, collaborations, commercialization or licensing negotiations. In the area of negotiations, Dr. Likhyani negotiated signficant multi-million dollar IP related deals on Software, Boitech, Chemicals, Polymers and Fibers: Sofrware & Systems / Instruments - Pavilion Technologies, Intec, Lenzing (Austria)
